CEO DATELINE - Associations make D.C.-area ‘top workplaces' list

The Washington Post included seven associations on its 2018 top workplaces list for businesses and nonprofit organizations in the Washington, D.C., area.
The Post partnered with the employee research and consulting firm Energage to survey employers with at least 50 employees in the D.C. region. A total of 341 organizations participated with more than 57,000 employees responding to questionnaires about their workplaces.
The Post listed 150 organizations as the area's top workplaces. Associations that made this year's list are:
- AARP
- National Rural Electric Cooperative Association
- Consumer Technology Association
- American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- National Recreation and Park Association
- American Health Care Association
- American Gas Association
Employee surveys gathered responses on 24 factors covering seven areas, including organizational health aspects that measure how well employees are working together toward a common cause, according to the Post. https://wapo.st/2Itcomo
